Buildin!

Well, ive finally taken a much needed week off!-Weve done design work
on our new robot and we have the design nailed down. I have started weighing materials and components for it, I think we have pretty much everything we need and well do a full size layout this week-if were happy
well start cutting steel this week as well. Were going to keep this robot a
bit of a surprise as wed really like to have some fun!! Laughing

Im still hoping to have a new feather for the day-still not sure what it is
but plenty of ideas on the ole sketchpad!!

Were genuinley looking forward to being challenged (hopefully not shredded!!) by Jolt and Scissorhands (my compliments on Scissorhands
Nick-nicely done mate! Laughing )

(ps for those who havent seen it yet, theres a thread on the november
round -in state specific info- and the possibility of having a few lightweight
fights on the sunday as well as some robogames, sounds like fun!-come
on, lets get a few more lightweights up and runnin!! Laughing )jas

How are we all going for round 5? It's less than two weeks away and time is slipping by fast - get building / repairing / upgrading NOW!

Unless something goes terribly wrong, I will be there with Scissorhands and Jolt as a backup - I have more spare parts for both as well.

ARG, ok guys.
I'll be upfront, is there any chance of shifting the event back a week?
I've been bogged down with school for the last month and *just remembered* my MDP for DT is due in this friday, so I'll have very little time to work on my robot, and it won't be done for saterday, even with Jason's help. As far as i'm aware both glen and dylon are also quite far of from being ready with dylon waiting on his IBC and glen being just a little ahead of my current position!
Have a think and let me know what people want to do, i'd really like to compete properly this event... yr 12 is sh*t. Evil or Very Mad

Laughing I remember yr 12 - delaying a week is no problem for me, particularly if we have a few others not ready.

OK with me if it suits the majority and the attendance will be higher.
Apologies to Chris.

As it turns out, it's great for me too - I had a shocking virus over the weekend and a training course all week that will really put me behind.

Yes, I do feel bad because Chris cannot make it. Is it the whole weekend you're unavailable Chris?
I'm still waiting for the quote for my weapon blades, so the delay is pretty well needed. Shocked

Hey gang!

Ok, Angus informed me of the proposed change to the event date last night-Its hard to find time sometimes(our crew worked the last 7 weekends!), we had some time on the weekend to get some more of our bot done-In a pinch, we could be ready but if the feeling is wed like another week, thats Ok with me!-Happy to do either! Laughing
