Love the vid thats what should be done to all pc's. I like how it flung it over the top of itself and scared the camera operator!

anyone have suggestion for a power switch that can handle 40V and is cheaper then a Whyachi switch? I'm tempted to get two bits of scrap steel flat bar on either side of some scrap chopping board and tap a M6 hole through the lot and use a left over screw to act as a contact, and wrap it all with duct tape.

I got about 4 of those big switches you find in jump start packs.
Handle a few hundred amps,should take 40v

Looks like that key switch but has a nob and not a key.

Yep that is what we do for our feathers.....bit we have 3 layers of breadboard. one on top one in the middle one on bottom .... then we have the layers bolted together at each end with breadboard washers to insulate the bolt. Then a bolt tapped through the top layer metal to make connection. Simple cause it cant fail.

I'd probably make a link out of a giant connector.

I think what the UK guys do now is use a super tight piece of cord and wrap it around the link once its plugged in so it cant jump out.

A removable link was the origional plan. I have big 75amp plugs on the batteries and they take a lot of force to pull apart. I actually couldn't get the plugs apart after the last test and ended up punching the chasis and cutting my hand when it did finally unplug. So I was thinking of something a bit quicker and safer that'll get me through the safety check. I've knocked most of the stuff off the to-do list.

Just weighed Huntsman and with the covers and batteries is came in at 80.9kg. It seems that Inventor keeps over doing my weight predictions, which ain't a problem. I'll probably leave it with its light weigh covers since the lower weight will reduce my shipping cost and extra weight will just make the driving worse. If I use UPS for air frieght 120kg comes out with $956 and 100kg comes out with $849, so an extra $100 for shipping the extra 20kg, or add Vendetta into the box as spare parts instead of in my bags.
