Mark sent back his response. He is still wanting to have an event on the original date he posted in January. He's asked if we can get a show of hands who is interested in attending.

I should be there, hopefully with a support crew. _________________ They say that he crossed the fine line, from insanity to genius.

What is the Sidetracked rule on teams with more than one bot? I would like to bring two Featherweights - do I need two drivers? _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

If he means "January 12th and 13th" then I can't make it. I get back from the Philippines on the 15th. _________________ Get Some!!!

I personally can do Jan 12/13 or Jan 20/21 - I dont know if Mark has any reason for one date over the other though - we'll have to check with him if it can be moved - does anyone else prefer 20/21 ?
The rules have always required one driver per bot, with changes to driving another only being allowed if a drivers primary bot has been eliminated. Anything else creates too many potential issues with deliberate forfeits. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people

Jan 20/21 suits me better. December/Jan is a mad house at work and will give me more time to finish a bot off _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Nick, my sister may yet be coming down. Imagine a 14yo girl at the controls of jolt or sissorhands...
I'm sure you won't have trouble finding a driver but it means more effort on your part to keep them both running
Either date suits me fine, but If it could be set soon that would be brilliant. Cheap plane tickets ftw. _________________ ( •_•)

Actually, you sister is pretty cool and the sight of a 14 Yo girl smashing some interstate bots would be worth the effort of running two robots. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

I should be fine with either date, although I may have one less cheerleader with the 20/21 date.
I'm with Angus, the sooner Mark decides, the sooner we can all buy plane tickets. _________________ They say that he crossed the fine line, from insanity to genius.

I checked with Mark today. Either date is fine with him. Does anyone have any problem with the 1 week later date ? _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people
