So the dewalt one isnt like the ones on the market place?
Not this one but I did pick up a second one which is a planetary but it cost me 75 bucks (Yeah from spending 2 bucks a drill I went up to 75 but its pretty cool. Its 14.4 volts with 2 speed/ hammer drill, battery and charger and also has a 13mm drill chuck which is a bonus. It has gone round the block a few times but works good.
Prob keep it as my drill drill but could just buy a gearbox and motor from RCMP but that would prob cost more than what the whole drill cost me.
The Bosch drill I think is 12 volts but is easy enough to change motors to match. It is a fan cooled motor with no markings _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

If its 12v then its probbebly a diff gearbox then the one i can get.
Yes as i say i can get another drill like the one i have but depending on how much the person wants for it.
Is the motor in the 9.6v dewalt a johnson motor?
If so and it fits the planitary gearbox would you trade it for the gearbox and motor i have? just the 9.6v motor? or would you sell it? _________________ Tim Team Reaper.

I think so, have had a little look and it is a 600 size and pretty sure it would be a johnson. Prob consider selling it but see how you go first _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.

Have been doing a few things to T34 which are way overdue.
Firstly have bolted on the turret and secured its nu and crude friction drive system.
Have rewired everything so the sozbots get their power from the drive battery but still have a reciever pack for the radio.
At 8.4 volts you get voltage drops unless u use low draw motors.
Have removed the plugs from the speed controller and have soldered the traxxas and the Sozbot on the same wiring harness to save on space.
Just has a deans plug for master battery which can also hang out of the rear plate for external batterys.
The receiver battery has a switch and charging jack so doesnt need to be removed at all so can pack that in tight.
Have added some detal to the turret so not much more to do on that.
Have it driving around with everything internal and can turn its turret, probably way too fast for scale speed but puurrrfect for cat anoying missions.
Still need to pack everything in tighter but will wait for next additions.
Have to add turret lift mech and fit in a squirting device, prob have to work them in at same time to optimise space. _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.
