I'm best man at a mates wedding, so ransom won't work . FW wise, I can probably have Hardfaced running in some kind of getto setup within a few hours. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

I haven't made a feather. I cut out some stainless steel to make a wedge. (Stainless Steel Rat clone). It just didn't excite me. (IE, ripping off a great robot).
I will concentrate on building a variety of ants ATM until a feather with a weapon inspires me. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

Hey Phillip ..like the sound of the stainless.....you could add a flame throwing mechanism to spice things up a bit...a Flame throwing wedge...like in this video!

7th for ants sounds good to me. Stig will be running this week. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems
I dug out one of the panels today and the mud is quite a pain to clean off. You need to keep swapping between sides as you have no idea which side is actually dirty. Took me about 10min to clean one panel to a good state. And even then could still probably use another going over.
I think it will take a good few hours for us to get everything cleaned up and in running order. As for the location of the arena. I marked out a 3x3 panel size in my shed today.
The fire extinguisher and butane cans mare the corners.
As you can see it takes up most of the space in my garage so while we could set it up there it would be very cramped and I am not sure exactly where we would put work benches, ect.
The other option is my backyard.
However for this we will need some form of floor for the indoor one I was just going to use the 6mm MDF we had for the roof.

Hi Steve
We think the garage will work! Robo Ga-Rage! At least we don't have to worry about weather then.

Ok so I am currently working out how to setup the arena in garage, or as miles put it the "Ga-RAGE".
Few questions would people like a 1 or 2 day event? I am pretty happy to cater for either.
I will be allowing beetles, spinners included, how many will we have?
Also did we want to run ants again or would two weeks be too short for people to repair them. _________________ Steven Martin

I think we should run ants. Two weeks should be enough for a rebuild. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

In garage I am going to say no. I really don't want to burn down the house and I don't think the other guys I live with would appreciate it too much either.
If we did it outdoors then shouldn't be a problem.
