gosh i love that robot
I am fascinated your using lipo's and how the banebots controllers will perform in a featherweight, ive only seen them used successfully in hobbyweights and even then they reached current limiting but i think that was with bots with 4 drill/wheel drive and 12 volts or something
Just promise me u wont be remaking it entirely out of bunnings polycarb or nothing _________________ Andrew Welch, Team Unconventional Robotics

I want to put a layer of 3mm black polycarb and some neons, but unfortuantly my brother now owns it so he is upgrading it, not me.

How are you going to power the valve? It will need to be overvolted to 150% to fire at full pressure. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

As in Hellcat a 9V battery will be wired in series with the valve solenoid to drive it at 20.1V.

For a Bukert valve FP 20V is cutting it close.

I hadn't looked at the coil yet. A couple of little AA cells then. _________________ Get Some!!!

20 v sounds about right to me. It fires well when the batteries are fully charged. It can fail to fire when the batteries start to get down to about 16 v. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

Some new toys arrived today:
The new 36mm 25:1 gearboxes with RS-545 motors and BB-12-45 speed controllers arrived from Bane Bots as well as some 3" colsons (2 for Devastator and 2 for Hellcat).
I have also deceided to replace the pneumatic lines and valves to overcome un-educated safety inspectors.
This sort of setup has been deemed an overkill here in Queensland due to the fact that the supply bottle has its own on/off valve and the screw fitting on top of the bottle acts as the vent valve. That can be a little hard to see for unexperienced people but the new setup should be easy to follow. _________________ Get Some!!!

LOL Looks like it tore it open from the flipper force itself! Nice work.
