I was looking at the Robowars entrant list and noticed that the NSW contingent includes mostly new and untested builds (Jolt included) it would be a smart idea to get together the weekend before the event and have a non-lethal combat day to make sure all our construction is sound before we find out the hard way in Victoria.

There's nothing like a few pushy matches and hitting some logs around the arena to expose loose screws / weak welds / bad soldering etc. I for one will feel happier if I can test my bot in real conditions. Is anyone else interested? It would be great if we can get bots that are not going to robowars to ome along too...

oh yes definitely, i would love to when orits done to tear some crap up and really beat the hell outa it to make sure its up to specs and truly ready for the melbourne event.

Hey everybody,

Sorry to bother yall even more so and stuff but i found out today that nick cant give me a lift down thar caus deb (his partner) is going with.

Soooooooooo.... is there anybody going down who can spare a seat for me or wouldnt mind me tagging along or anybody whos swinging by the area who i could meet up and tag along with and somebody who i can scab a lift home with or whatever.

I won't have a spare seat, but I should be taking a van down so I'll be able to transport some robots or spare parts if people want

We'd have to work out a meeting time or something the day before I head down, but I'll keep everyone posted.

I may have p plates by then but driving that far by myself isnt a good idea as i wont be experienced to driving by myself and that and long distances and crap.

Prong/bort/whoever else. Would u guys have a spare seat i can fill and all, ill chip in with petrol and rations and whatever.

im putting this post up as a last resort before i go booking flights and crap. My parents r going to queensland tomorrow for holidays and r making me get something definite sorted for robowars trip before.

Can anybody going down thar spare a seat for lil ol me. Lindsey kindly enough can maybe take me down if hes not going with dumhed (andrew).

So if anybody can assist please post here ASAP and stuff caus if not ill be booking flights tomorrow and stuff.
