If we go with the planetary cog logo, it would make sense to put a single mounting hole in the middle. It will take up much less room and allow the design to go all the way to the edges. Juts tighten them up hard so they don't rotate.
I like the idea of a presentation board to bolt your pogs to, but its not going to do much except in Victoria, as the other states don't have a public audience - I'll be bolting mine direct to the bot or some sort of simple 'totem pole' if the pogs can't fit on the bot (like my beetleweight). Let's leave that to each builder... _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

I made the teeth larger and left more room inside the gears for lettering. Fine detail doesn't come out in the laser process so we need to keep things big 'n bold.
What do competitors in NSW and QLD want for lettering - state initials?
I had to reduce the centre mounting hole down to 2mm, its also possible to put mounting holes at the edges between the gears but this will make the pog look lopsided. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

You might find it would be cleaner if you reversed the letters out of solid gears.
It would simplify it as Nick correctly said it helps to simplify the details so they can stay sharp when reduced.
THat would allow you to enlarge the letters if needed and give a more graphic approach. IE try making the 3 gears a solid black with the letters in white but slightly larger.
It would make the letters stand out a bit more and give it a bit more depth.
Maybe even reduce the number of teeth on the saw so the teeth can become a bit chunkier, just ideas anyway _________________ Bots that do not destroy you, only make you stronger.
