probaly a noobie question but where is the event this weekend i might ride my motorbike down for a look it needs a run and thats a good reason to take it for one

I just finished Gulp for the event:





As you can see its not built for combat, with mainly polycarbonate and plywood construction! The 38mm wide wheels give it heaps of traction, even though it only weighs 9.3Kg. With some more weight it will get even better grip and I'm thinking of running it in the Sumo event. If it doesn't win anything else, I'm expecting the "Ugliest in show" ribbon Laughing.

I need a driver for Jolt on Sunday; Andrew can't make it on Sunday, so if he agrees to lend his radio (or you have one of your own), then please apply.


Do we have a soccer ball yet? If not, I can pick up something tomorrow.


@ Jeff: I have been slack about the floor inserts; is tomorrow OK to pick up a tile? If you will be out, just stick one somewhere in the front garden for me.

Sadly, I could only find one fan and since its 12V it needs to be wired in series with another one to work withthe 21V battery pack.

i got bodgy osciliscopeness happening again
i think its circa 1920 or something but eh looks like it'll work
so i can probbly take a look at your IBC
the HIP chips could be heating up because the fets are shorted and the hips are trying to drive them

lol actualy nick i think i'll be winning the "ugliest in show", wait till you see my crapsled! Very Happy
Um only problem is i have no batteries so i either try to get glens packs he made up working or jeff could i borrow that phat SLA again? (the really big one). I could use the weight for sumo (maybe) and it would make things a crapload easier! Andew how many BEC's do you have? Smile
