That's weird, it looks like the hosting provider themselves are blacklisting you somehow, that's not something from the forum. Brett might be able to take it off though.
A think you can try though is turn the internet off overnight if you are on cable,or you can ring optus and ask them for a new IP. If it's adsl just turn it off and on again.

Spoke to Brett, should be sorted though neither of us are sure what triggered it. Might be worth running a virus scan over your gear perhaps?

It could just be that your router picked up a new IP address so the problem could come back if your computers are sending packets that netvirtue doesn't like. Back in the day, the entire business where I worked got blocked because one web server was infected.

Jake contacted me and I logged into the Admin area and removed the IP Block.

Visiting ipchicken.com (or one of about a million similair sites) will tell you if your router picked up a new address or not.

Normally this sort of thing is caused by too many password-fail attempts to login into an email address hosted on my server, or something similar, but there are some apache-mods I added to the forum server years ago when we were under attack by authentication-spam-bots that *could have triggered it.

The logged cause was "Block Reason: csf.deny: 114.77.224.247 # lfd: (mod_security) mod_security (id:340147) triggered by 114.77.224.247 (AU/Australia/c114-77-224-247.ipswc3.qld.optusnet.com.au): 5 in the last 3600 secs - Tue Nov 29 16:31:46 2016"

Thats about all I know at the moment, without digging deeper into the code.
