Why 35 kg?
We have featehrweights/sportsman class. 30lbs or 13.6kg.
Lightweights , 60lbs or 27.2 kg
Middleweights , 120lbs or 54.4kg.
Heavyweights 220lbs, 250 lbs or 100kg or 110 kg depending on what continent you're playing. The heavier are the "new TV weights".

The organisers just made the competition very expensive for everyone . The difference between costs for featherweight and lightweight bots are more than double as most cheap R/C parts are not up to powering heavier bots.
I agree with Mario, scooter motors are a good choice but I would search for a motor around 500 watts to more a 35Kg bot. If you can find a motor with a lower output speed, it will be easy to gear it down to drive the wheels with just one chain drive reduction. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

500RPM output which is suitable for using with small 100mm wheels with a 1:1 change drive or big 250mm wheels with a larger reduction. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

Exactly what I was thinking . The only problem is getting a set into India - having lived there for a bit, I know that a rupee doesn't go far when ordering internationally! A set for those motors would be 12,000 rupees before shipping. Take those motor specs and search the Chinese sites to see if they can be bought cheaper. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion
