Sorry, no can help on that one. All the Tormach stuff is Chinese in the first place, so maybe the same factory is grey-marketing the holders? $15 each is an amazing price; I'd definitely get a box for that price. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

They scrape your wallet out much faster I tried one out a few years ago and it left a good finish until it broke - my fault. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Hahaha this machine has been a fine wallet scraping device so far. Not worth the premium over normal 2 flutes then? _________________ www.demon50s.com - Minimoto parts

From memory, it left a smoother finish and might make sense for CNC. I suspect they are best for commercial shops pushing their feed rates to the max to make the most money.
Keen to see how your conversion performs! _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

The cheap chinese carbides seem to not suck, particularly for the smaller sizes, Russell got a box of like 50 for $100 in 1-3mm sizes from one of the ali's
We have a few SEI carbide ones as well, they do a better job in terms of finish and the like but too scary to use them at first lol.
We use the sei carbide standard with good coating generally for the 6mm stuff, they break, you cry, you continue. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets
