they used to have lifepo4 a123 cells now they are trying to pass these off as the same thing.
Building a 6s pack. going to try out the hobbyking 4500mah 6s2p pack first nd if its not enough capacity ill build 6s3p packs from a123s

based on the voltage specs they are still LiFePO4 chemistry.
Lithium Ion covers all types _________________ The Engine Whisperer

Strange why they wouldn't advertise lifepo4
The max charge voltage dont add up?
If people charge them on lithium ion voltages itl destroy the cell wont it the label could cuase problems.

Most LiFePO4 cells seem to have an absolute max rating of 4.25v
Standard charge is 3.65v or so. _________________ The Engine Whisperer

These cells are also a mystery to me as all I have to go by is the listing, I do not have access to test the actual voltage. I recommend against buying them at this time. I will send a not to both or Product team and Web Team to take care of this ASAP.

Hey,
Has anybody got a smaller whyachi switch for sale or something similar
Trying to get the mock testbed for new warning driving by end of week and the whyachi switch i have is MASSIVE and doesnt allow me to make it as compact as id like.
Part of me is tempted to make my own but id rather not risk it and go with something that guarantee works.
If not If anybody knows how to make one thats reliable and tiny and can handle two hammerdrill motors on 6 cell i wouldnt say no.

If you don't want a removable link you can solder a nut onto one side of some PCB, then put a socket head cap screw through from the other side to make the connection.
It's worked pretty well for NC, I think using M6 bolt, I then wrapped it all in kapton. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

Hey Dudes,
Had an UP Mini come into the shop for sale as a used machine - looks pretty much untouched, I think they didn't know how to 3D Model and just gave up, maybe 100g material run through it (literally).
Price is $600 ONO plus delivery if anyone's interested. It would be just on the tail end of its warranty (4mths or so left). _________________ ( •_•)

Does anyone know if hollow axles are available? I am looking for an ID 1/2" axle or steel bush or spacer or whatever that would go over my 1/2" OD hub to extend the hub out to a support bearing. Otherwise I would just make another hub from scratch. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

What OD does the extension need to be? It sounds like a locking collar might do the trick:

The OD can be any standard bearing size. The length needs to be the width of thewheel and bearing. Maybe 50 mm. _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems
