International

Motorama 2015 - February

I looked into travel to Motorama; It looks like you would fly to LA and then Baltimore or Philadelphia. From there its a drive to Harrisburg. Driving on US roads would be a suicide mission for me, but if anyone else wanted to go then I would be keen to take a bot over. From the last Motorama's videos, Aussie bots would be very competitive.

Robogames 2015 - TBC

Best event I ever went to! Unfortunately, Dave has stopped doing feathers Crying or Very sad

UK Featherweight Championship - TBC

I am already there! Its probably the largest feather event in the world right now; easy to get to and very well organised.

Quick Motorama update: there is an excellent train connection between Philadelphia and Harrisburg, so it would be possible to get a fairly cheap minibus - train - minibus transfer after flying into Philadelphia. There are hotels very close to the Motorama event so driving can be avoided and using public transport might even save money as well.

Another Motorama update: here is the registration thread on the NERC forum: http://forums.delphiforums.com/CJRC/messages/?msg=3562.1 . Registration closes on 20/12/2014, not far away!

Updated the events calendar. Would be good to see some more events in Aus.

I also updated the front page but I think it is cached.

For the Robowars Nationals event, which rule set are we following??

I need the final weight confirmed, is it 12kg??
might be a silly question but are we aloud to use LiPo's. I didn't see them mention on any of the rules I read??

The weight limit is 13.61kg (30lb)
Everyone uses LiPo's, which is probably why we don't mention it.

This is the latest version. And it is pretty similar to the version we have used previous years. I will do up the exact one for nationals closer to the event but the only real differences are likely to be no flamethrowers as its inside.

Think its time to close this one off and call us done for the year.

2016 TBD.
