I just opened up to 24 places. Think we will need to drop to three rounds in round robin. So if we get any more might be better to do double elimination. Gunna be huge.

I think sportsmans are going to be more popular than the open feather class over the next few years just due to the limitations of time and arena. Like the "no spinner" not quite sportsman class we ran in QLD before I left.

We will definitely be focussing on them on the second day and interspersing the finals for the feathers I am just really trying to work out best way to have as many fights as we can in the time we have available.

The UK championship had 50 bots entered this year while we 'only' have 32 including the sportsman class. Considering that the UK has almost three times our population and had foreign entrants, we are doing very well.

Couple of Questions.

Is there a hot sparks repair area?

Do mains powered devices need test tags?

Apparently hot sparks can be done in the car park area at the back of the gallery. I did get in trouble last year for angle grinding out the front of the gallery. You can do stuff like that back at our house if you need to on the saturday night. Very Happy

I don't know if we need to have the tag and testing man this year will need to check. If not i doubt anyone will check if your gear is tagged.
