Wait. I shouldn't be relying on a 10 year old model. Saw blades are 1.25mm thick. So better with 1 -1.1mm step

Is the diameter of the step still 20mm? The first drawing referred to 16mm.

Yeah, 2. I have a vertical and horizontal saw planned.
I'm buying cheap "3 for $9.99" saws from Bunnings which have 20mm bore and 16mm adapter. Better to run the full 20mm if I can

Hey kiddies

Placing a hobbyking order soon, thinking new radio as i fairly hate the hobbyking one i have, even though i found the adaptor to lapto it and tinker it just shits me

So what radios are cheap yet good?

Also looking into maybe second charger but dont want to spend alot of money Smile

CDurious question, in the spectrum/most radios you can mess with menu settings can you program it for a flip switch. As in i flick this switch on top and forward is reverse etc

Thanks

22 Hex? Hmmmmm. Over all length = 8mm, Step dia 20mm (-0.2), step length = 1.8mm, M12 through the bore.

The assembly would be like this:

That looks like a pain in the ass to assemble if i understand it correctly (probably don't heh) You'd need to hold the saw and two nuts in between the arms as you wound in the bolt, then tighten it all up incrementally?

Yeah. I agree. The only way around it is to have a more complex hub or make the external. Since Nick already finished the hub nuts all I could do it leave it as it is or make the saw external

Hey,

I need to buy a new transmitter. The orange ones from hobbyking seem ok but little too pricey.

I have a cheap hobbyking one but am not a fan of it for lack of programming and losing trim positioning too easy.

Theres lots of good systems for 40-60 but unsure what would work well.

Main reason i want a new one is so i can set up flip switch (inverted operations) and other programmable driving such as dual rates etc

Thanks

The consensus I have been hearing is the orange Txs don't bind reliably.

I just still use old HK ones.

I'm not sure many transmitters support flip switches, I've been looking for ages. Maybe the turnigy 9x can do it?

But yeah my orange radios going in the bin, f@#kin sick of it! pardon the french Razz

old school hk radio is reliable as hell but the sticks feel so gritty and horrible + no programming.

Think I'll either try the 9XR or just buy a spektrum.. everyone in the UK (and i mean everyone, like no one has hobbyking radios there) uses them and they work sweet.

Yeah the spectrum works good. Might get hobbyking one going again as I got spare receivers etc.

Any receivers bind and work with spectrum ? Could always do with spares.

The orange RX stuff binds with spektrum.

Use it at work i even use orange rx satelite rx pluged into spektrum rx binded to spektrum tx and visa versa.

The best part is buy a spektrum tx if your not comfortable with buying the orange tx and then buy orange rx cos they have real failsafe you can bind to dead stick and the rx cost like $15-20. the only spektrum rx that have the same failsafe are the 8000 models and up which cost about $180 for the rx.
