The X2 is just too small to be useful in my opinion. I think myself and Aaron have one and glen has the lathe mounted version.
You only have 90mm travel on the X which is what annoyed me. Particularly with CNC conversion as I constantly had to move parts. It honestly never gets used anymore. It's easier just to outsource.
The X2 head is okay IMO for a hobbiest, however the column and table is just way too limiting. I've always wanted to transplant the head onto gantry style CNC platform to make it handle larger jobs. _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

BF20L comes apart really easily to move it, column is 4x bolts and the table comes off the base easy, then its 3x parts that can be shifted about by one person no worries
We always seem to want to cut small stuff, (like the shell for shredder)
That was done with a 3mm cutter, the old head would max out at like 1600 RPM, we cut shredder at something like 10K or something. So it was 10x quicker with the high speed spindle. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

about an hour I think, we roughed it with 6mm then came back with 3mm to do the little triangles. _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets
