cable is much much easier for me to get a hold of if we need special custom made ones im more then happy to knock some up length is no issue.
the actual lights really depends on if we do a strip out but ill keep searching.

Heyo!!
Excellent well even if beetles aren't being run at nats im def going to have my beetle with me regardless, as you say i may be able to do an exhib to fill time or something Smile would love to a few friendly matches...for say they glory of the ultimate beetle in the universe?

As soon as the beetle is done ill start on a possible feather. worst case i don't mind coming up to help with the event etc if i cant compete Smile

We will probably only be having feathers in competition for nats this year. The beetles are good, but hasn't been many beetle events for a while unfortunately. I think its mostly because feathers are more common so more chance of competitors turning up when we stick with the most popular weight range.

But bring it along we would love to see it. Very Happy

Nick like the idea of those led fluro lights Very Happy One of our video led lights at vivid had turned off on the roof, but I checked em today and they are all working so might have been a cord bump.

awesome thanks for the link will check em out XD

Have we confirmed classes for Nats? I'll only really able to commit to one featherweight class, but might tweak my plans if it helps get numbers up. Smile

Likely feathers + sportsman. No ants or beetles.

Ants weren't interesting to the crowd. Unlikely to do Beetles as no arena and they look shitty in the big arena.

The crowd loved the ants.

Maybe as a filler between rounds ?

We got an arena and all for it so may as well

That and its the only weight class im any good in Very Happy

It was pretty much unanimous opinion from last year that the crowd was not interested in the ants.

I think the interest has been declining each year.

If you actually read back the start of this thread this is supported by Sean and Phillip. We are far better off focussing on featherweights.

Is the registration only for the open class feathers or for the sportsman class also?

For what point can a placeholder be used vs a real flesh and steel bot (for rego)?

The point until the list is full.

If that happens will have to make a few decisions.

Will the sportsman class be run on the second day as fillers while the open class is charging and repairing like the ants were in previous years?

That is the plan. However depending on how many entrants we get it may be its own competition.
