New Builder

Hi, Im ben new to the robot building scene. Im looking to complete at the event this year. it looks really fun!! Very Happy I'd love to hear any tips to either save some later frustration..

My other advice would be to start as simple as possible. Don't worry if its a box made of wood. They can do surprisingly well lol.

Can you give us a bit of background on what sort of tools you have available and what experience you have? That's really helpful for the other builders when they answer questions - you will get information that's relevant and useful.

Welcome Benji.

i agree with Nick, you can build with everything from a cordless drill and hand saw up to a fully kitted out metal workshop and still compete just fine. A bit of background greatly helps target advice
