LED lighting fail

you can get constant current drivers for them as well.
Both of the 50W ones I have came with drivers - total price was around $20-25

The LED panels are made up of 1W chips in series strings of 10.

They're used in the LED video projectors apparently.

$25 for a 50W LED solution is very attractive! I was looking at LED fluro replacement lights at more than double that price and a 48W CFL bulb costs around $25 at Bunnings.

I think they'd need some sort of nice diffuser to give suitable lighting for a room, but it should definitely be doable.
