The 18 and 12v kmart ones ive bought have all been the standard type that screw together with the 3 screws.

Though it seems 50/50 as to whether you get metal or plastic first stage gears. Best trick is to just buy 4, harvest all the metal gears into 2x gearboxes then take the other 2 back with plastic gears for a refund eh eh eh Laughing

Nice one Wink might have to check these k-mart drills out! and soon someone may or may not want a drill or two for Christmas! too bad if they get more than one and need to be returned Very Happy

….or even better use them for a comp …then take them back…..wish we did this..…i wouldn't have felt guilty either, after we burnt 8 brand new drills at the red fern event. Sad

haha 8 drills that maybe a bit sux "Working hard on the home renos mate" Wink actually if the gears are the same I'll just take gears out of the ozito's box and replace the plastic ones in the k-mart drills, and if all goes well the k-mart boxes "should" bolt /screw onto the ozito motors = interchangable kill the motors rebuild the boxes! Very Happy
