So updates.

Firstly here is some pics of my switch yesterday after tidying it up.

Oh and here is my HK order

Hi Glen

And the saw bot with its top on.

Look at dem finely filled holes.

The issues began when I moved onto the arm. Firstly the motor mounts didn't fit. Thankfully with some CNC work that was addressed.

Do I really need 2 x 1.3kW weapon motors. Yes yes I do.

A few more things have been done but will see how I go tomorrow.

Progress Update.

OK so both are in their almost final state, but there is a massive TODO list on both of them.

So what isn't done.

- Flying V could still use a bungee. Not sure wtf to do here. Thinking maybe some urethane belt or just leave it. Drives nice. Flips well, Selfrights too.

- Dool Saw still needs belts that is the main thing. Miles has me covered I think need to pick that up tomorrow. I briefly sawed through a milk crate before my hair ties got cut. I swapped out the screw on the arm with a longer one and think it will self right but not something I have had time to test. I have several lengths which I can try.

So this was the stage I was at at 9:30pm tonight. And I thought that this was making things too easy for myself so....

Feast your eyes on its shitness. Total construction time 4hrs. Based on Wedgebot a very average wedge + winch. It is primarily constructed of hope and zip ties. (No duct tape included yet) Anyone who has entered and shows up without a bot should now feel bad and think very carefully about their excuse. Don is going to be driving it so he is the first victim and must deal with the shame. Razz

As you can see the zip ties are largely structural.

It also has no hope of self righting, however will be able to flail around trying as long as it has battery power.
