Not a half bad event, even if it is only antweights (i kid i kid). Love the huge helicopter one XD and the angled flipper looking one too, that seems really intricately made. nice work!
I am sick of unsticks and having to try and make a ruling on whether the other robot put someone on the wall or (in the wall) or upside down, whether it has no ground clearance or is stuck on the floor. Its too hard to remain consistent and I have had enough of being the one who has to make those decisions.
Next round 0 unsticks.
This may require a few things to be changed.
Arena floor - Steel
Arena side panels - Steel
Corners do we want to put on top plates so that you don't get caught down the holes?
This will mean that if you get stacked against any wall you lose.
If you get embedded in any wall or floor you lose
If you get stuck on debris in the arena you lose (get more ground clearance)

It's those diagonal bits in the corners that are the main culprits! Could they be replaced with right angle pieces? What about robots that get imbedded in the wall?

Scarlet would have won the final with this rule.
This rule is clear and simple to understand and implement. It should lead to robots that are less likely to get stuck and therefore provide a better show for an audience.
When two robots get stuck on each other, will the fight stop and be judged up to that point? _________________ So even the rain that falls isn't actually going to fill our dams and our river systems

unsolicited opinion from this particular member of the NSW peanut gallery is that i like this concept _________________ <Patrician|Away> what does your robot do, sam
<bovril> it collects data about the surrounding environment, then discards it and drives into walls

I would say the robots have to be unstuck and the match continued. If you don't separate them, it's a shit fight for builders and audience. If you end the fight there, same as previous statement.... _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/
Probably not if you get stuck on it just means you don't have enough ground clearance. _________________ Steven Martin
