Hi guys
So how would you control 4 separate scooter motors if you wanted to create a brital ramming bot?

I know most 4wd bots have chains running each side of a bot off one motor powering two wheels...

.....but that needs to be pretty accurately built.... it would be pretty cool if you had a motor for each wheel....so would you need 4 hacked esc's (if so would you use a mixer or somthing going to the reciever)....or could you run two scooters off a tz85 per side? ....Steve?

You can run two motors off one ESC. But it all comes down to what the ESC can handle. 2 RS775 motors probably too much for a Tz85a but 2x 100W motors more than fine. If you ran 2 ESCs then you can just split the RC wire so they get the same signal.

Running 4 motors also has the advantage of if you lose one motor you can probably still drive pretty well.

oh cool ...you just split the wire for two esc's brilliant!

or just run both off the one tz85 brilliant again!

Yeah I reckon it would be a total beast.... 4 x 12v 100w scooters running on 6 cell. ...a rammer ...Tornado style.

After all you want something you can drive around the back yard as well as the arena!

Hell no. These ideas are just fantasies at the moment.

I have seen a few 150a esc's turnigy or hobbywing for around $100 that might be able to be modded.

Also seen some fan cooled ones and a 300a one for around $250

All on ebay.
