It is pretty disgraceful, but it's not like Apple is the only big player here doing this kind of shit. Microsoft threatening patient lawsuits to all the linux companies, forcing them to cross license or be sued (Novell succumbed to the pressure). Or Google using chunks of Sun/Oracle IP to make Android or their WebM codec for HTML5. Intel doing deals with Dell and HP for exclusivity of hardware to prevent them selling AMD gear.
Welcome to big business, play hard, play dirty, or go and play with the kids down the back Intellectual Property, it's such a dirty term

You just described Microsoft with that sentence as well _________________ https://www.halfdonethings.com/

I have no love for Microsoft either. If anything, of the two, Microsoft is probably more despicible a company than Apple is. Their proven history of Dirty Tricks is long and legion.
Steve and Apple however, portray themselves as "The Good Guys" and Mac-heads usually radiate such false superiority that I occasionally feel compelled to point out that despire their self appointed shiny white halo's, Apple are just as much a bunch of corporate lowlifes as Microsoft are and they dont hesitate in pulling the same tactics they claim to despise when it suits them to do so.
I understand that such tactics are par for the course in the world of big business, but while Microsoft reminds me of a mass car manufacturer, turning out consumeable throwaway products with little effort spent to falsely portray themselves as Angels,
Apple puts me more in mind of a Mafia-Run Casino. Glitzy and Shiny on the front end, with Glam Showrooms and Image, yet with suitcases full of cash being handed to Dangerous men in expensive suits out the back.
So its good to see them being the dodgy scum they are in public on occasion, purely because they make themselves out to be the nice guys most of the time _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people
