They are a good antweight size, but at 28 grams + 4.5 grams for the tiny ESC, its easy to use up 50% of the weight limit.

What does Scarlet use? Aaron's antweight seemed about the fastest on the day - anything slower than that would annoy me.

30:1 or 100:1 pololu drives + b328.

If it's 30:1 the were probably turned right down in radio. Also b328 are great and small but far from bullet proof.

Thanks, all those motors are a similar 8 to grams and price, so I will take a close look at the specs. I like the idea of a final belt drive to the wheels to save the fragile looking gearbox - perhaps my first 3D printed part will be a wheel with integrated pulley Smile

Has anyone tried friction driving an antweight weapon? I really like the idea of a small diameter inrunner with a crazy-high KV driving a disk or bar like Relic's.

Scarlett was running 100:1 pololu motors on 11.1v. 30:1 are insanely fast, but not good for trying to drive a spinner in a controllable manor.
