As some of you are already aware, Hobbyking have opened a warehouse in NSW. I have just been to their (updated) site and found that they now have got quite a range of their LiPos in their AUS warehouse. The shipping is also quite cheap as well ($15 for up to 7kgs).

Some of the prices also seem to be cheaper in the Australian warehouse.

Well, that's a bonus... I was curious how much they might have 'marked up' prices just because they're local... I suppose as Aus is so close compared to the US warehouse we shouldn't see much difference aside from the convenience! Hobbyking has advanced onto Australian Soil, crappy LHS, beware ! (ie, hobbyco >_>)

That is excellent news, particularly after that news story about Lipo cell causing a cargo plane to crash in Dubai. Its likely that shipping packs will be much harder for us to buy internationally in the future, so this local supply is great timing!
