@ nick.

Arent the mag motors made to handle all the curent they need to get 3 and 4.5hp out of them?

And so my best bet is to use the big mag motor and use as many packs as i can spare the weight in my bot?

The mag motors are premium products and will deliver huge amounts of power. Ultimately, they were designed for some boring industrial task that doesn't include over-volting huge shock loads, bad cooling, stalling and high output - all in 3 to 5 minutes

Don't get me wrong, if any motor will go the distance, the Mags will. I was just commenting on the different model's relative performance.

Ok got ya.

It looks like ill go the s28-400 and use eather 2 or 3 packs depending on the performance i get with eather combination once the bot is done if i can spare 3 packs.

Can name one or two. Most people are going onto the technobots Perm motors over here though.

Well iv had to opt for a smaller drum possibly heavyer and for the weapon motor im using a model plane starter motor at 18v to make the robot still invertable.

so the weapon wont be ass efective as what it started out to be Sad

But on the plus side it now has 4 drive motors Smile
