whilst drinking outside attempting to gain some inspiration to finish my robots. i got onto thinking how many removable parts my robots had.

thought it might make for an interesting waste of time Laughing

id consider a "part" to be anything thats removable from the robot. so a frame thats welded as one piece would be one "part" and anything that can be removed (speed controller, motor, drill assembly) is a part too. probably dont include wires. thats a bit ACD Laughing

guess how many cobra has including the bolts and nuts Razz (to begin with Laughing)

I nominate Skeletor as most complicated radio wise using 6 channels to operate a featherweight.
2 channels for drive, one for horizontal griping claws, one for vertical weapon / self right movement, one to activate interchangeable weapon [drill, saw, flame thrower] one for flip.

I'll nominate MBX for the most simple and most complex. Construction is as simple as it gets, 1chassis, 1 lid, 1 motor, 1 gearbox, 1 wheel, 1 SSR, 1 radio/controller and 1 battery. Electronics wise, it's an ass, a complex system that is hard to debug and make changes to without large amounts of obvious feedback.

Next version is a lot more mechanically complex, but hopefully more electrically simple Smile
