Need cheap batteries with semi high AH to make up 24V packs

Hey Guys,
wheres the cheapest place I can get the nimh rechargeable cells to make up 24V packs with between 3-5 AH?

I've got a side project on atm which is taking up a lot of my free time, but I cant find anywhere to buy the batteries at a good price per cell.

I also need a simple/cheap smart charger for them.

The battery pack ideally needs to be small and light, so AA size and sub C sizes would be ideal!
Any ideas where I can get this stuff from?

Cheers!

HR-4/3FAU - 4100mAh NiMH

http://masterinstruments.com.au/products/55250/HR-4/3FAU.html

They only sell to businesses with an ABN, so try your luck.

Charger wise, a Triton2 will cover your fairly well for a cheap enough price. They charge NiCD/NiMH up to 7amp http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMAJ0&P=ML

$120USD + P&P each. or if your interested, I got a spare Triton2 I'll see ya for $120 shipped Razz

Batteries look great!
Charger looks way too expensive. Need something much cheaper than a triton 2!

Thanks Smile

Most cheap chargers don't go over 12v, you could split a pack and use the cheap GWS MC2002's. I got two for about $40 ea from ebay.

Laughing plug in wall chargers = fried battery pack in bin. How much are you looking to spend on a charger? I might be persuaded to sell my trusty Triton 1 for a keen price. failing that, United Hobbies has a good range at the right prices and are quick to deliver if they have the item in stock.

If you are going to look for anything on FleeBay, do it now before prices go up.

FleeBay have just changed there policies to make PayPus the only form of payment for items. (there is pay at pickup. Useless really)

21 May, PayPus on all listings.
17 June PayPus or pay at pickup only

Lot of sellers getting out of FleeBay so clearance sales for all.
A lot of others just wanting to get rid of old stock so they don't have to edit listings.

Could be some very good bargains up until 17 June.
