It shouldn't be that hard to make a *two* stage charger. It's just a current limited voltage regulator. I guess you'll just miss out on the trickle charge when it's done.

yeah, there are a few options, and I might just end up making an addon for a power supply I have, but I figured it's worth checking if anyone has some useful SLA stuff kicking around sine no one's really using them any more Smile

WANTED:

some 2400 nicad cells. now everyone is converting to a123 if anyone has some old 2400s in okay condition i wouldnt mind buying them for etek bike Smile

a v pulley (thinks its an A size) with a 30mm bore. diameter not really important. will pay good money. need now Crying or Very sad

MMMMM thats a pretty expensive pulley Laughing

do they still have the hub with the grubscrew in them? the 3" one might be the ticket if you could bore it out to 30mm with the hub still in tact.

Does anyone know where to get assorted tough metal gears?

I need a couple for a gear drive starter motor that's stripped them.

One is 17.5mm diameter, and the other is 32.5mm (to tips of teeth)

If I can find anything close enough to give the same distance between shafts it might work Smile
