something screwy about this thread. every time it changes to an extra page I have to add a post to fix the "go to most recent post" button. weird _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people

question! looks like visceral will be hammering on 36v this event, so heres an ibc query.
i remember gary saying something about the switchmode reg needs to get disabled if you want to run more than 28 or some such. question being is 36v of a123s pushing it?? i dont think they would peak over 36v fully charged (they cut off at 3.6v per cell) and would sag pretty good).
I don't know for sure but the spec on the chip is meant to be good for 60v or so i think? _________________ Mechanical engineers build weapons, civil engineers build targets

i cant find any 4700uF with low ESR over 10v. Infact i can not find a single low ESR between 2200 and 4700 uF over 25v.
should i go for 493-1362-ND CAP 4700UF 63V ELECT VZ RADIAL CAP which i found in this thread it does not say it is low ESR.

Have you tried emailing Jason ?
jaycowley <at> optusnet.com.au
He should be able to advise as to where he is sourcing the parts from at present, and possibly even have a replacement part for you. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people

Which emails ? Jasons ?
If so, I have no idea. Perhaps give him a call if you have not heard from him - PM me if you need his number. _________________ Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people
