Don't know how tolls work eh? Basically they slow down the speed of traffic and you get to pay them for it as well.

There's dedicated electronic tolling that uses credit card account and a tag that goes in your car. Some also have manned booths that you pay a person some money. The ones that don't have people, then if you dont have the tag you're meant to ring up within 24hrs of using it and pay with credit card. Or they send you a fine. Basically another way for someone to screw you out of money.

An update on the filming side of things, I meant to get to this earlier but got sidetracked by a new job.

The event will be professionally filmed, there will be dedicated cameramen and two HD cameras at the event, to cover all the action from two angles. There will be a DVD (non HD) created, available for purchase for $15, with free postage!. This inlcudes your Printed DVD, a case and a Limited edition BattleShed case insert.

Payment will be accepted via cash at the event, or Paypal and Direct Deposit after the event.

We will endevour to get the DVD done as quickly as possible but with two cameras and possibly the most fights ever seen in one place, it will take significant editing time.

For those impatient types the footage will be put on the net as we go, though the DVD will have extras and full quality footage. IF there is enough interest i will get the full quality HD footage online, but it will be very massive.

For inclusion on the DVD I want a brief interveiw with each team at the event. Rather than someone asking you questions, I would like to get you aside for a few minutes to introduce your team and robot(s), stratigies etc. So have a think about what you want to say!

I look forward to seeing you all there!

Great news Lindsay!
I'll still bring my camera though, just for my own personal use. Smile
