Following are our proposed competition dates for 2008.
National Titles - January 12th and 13th
Victorian State Title, Round 2 Final 07/08 - April 13th
Victorian Open Titles - July 20th
Victorian State Title Round 1 08/09 - 12th October

Brett - perhaps you can start a calander in the main forum for dates to be entered by event organisers only so that clashes can be avoided as much as possible. I would prefer that there was a 'no reply' allowed forum so that it does not get taken over by other topis - simply a notice board with only cetain members from all states having access to post dates - possible?

But the Wiki is hard to find. I still don't know how it works so the new guys don't stand a chance. Just because it is a wiki doesn't mean it is easy.

to edit it click the button marked edit, if you want to copy a feature in another page, click edit there and copy that chunk. Its not rocket science, it will take you about 5 minutes to learn.

I think its more along the lines of how to find the wiki. Mr Sidetracked would never have known about it if you had never pointed it out. There is no big button on the forum pointing to the events page, only posts hiding in forgotten threads. I bet 99% of people look at the forum rather then the wiki because they don't know its there.

thats something that should be changed.
It beats scrolling through 15 pages of thread to find a date change.
put the wiki on the home page and in big letters somewhere in each page in the forum

I am going to do that.

I just havent had time to fire up the web editor and do any homepage editing for a little while - Once the current kerfuffle over dates is resolved, I'll see what I can do.

Anyone with time on their hands feel like updating it and sending me the updated html file ?

Yeah - i have followed the link - but I dont have a clue how to edit it - or even if I can.
