I share your grief... the world truely is ending now that the members of Pink Floyd have started departing this world. Sad

There will be no music other than Pink Floyd played in my house... EVER.

...good thing there is sooooo much Floyd to listen to.

IN MEMORY OF:

MR RAW - ILLUMINATUS TRILOGY

http://hostgator.rawilson.com/images/EWSGreen.jpg

DEDICATION:

"In the End the gods shall determine to create the End of Things. Then shall they witfully make nothing of what unwittingly they made at the very Beginning of Things, which will be (as it ever was) the establishment of Nothing, wherein are there no things. And thus all things that create the Allness--yea, these minute and palpable things that constitute the particularity of particular things and too those great and wobbly things that form the generality of general things--will be no more, excepting only those that never were at all.

"For in the End the gods shall in accord with the wonder of their wisdom uncreate All That Is but none of What is Not. And from this mighty mingling of the newly increate with the eternally nonexistent shall spring forth a New World. And it shall be a very good one, perfect, and without flaw.
-The Book of Thern - Book XIII, Chapter 1.

R.I.P to one of the greatest visionaries and authors of our time. Crying or Very sad
Robert Anton Wilson leaves his body @4:50 AM on binary date 01/11.

All Hail Eris!

Can't say I've heard of this fellow before, but I've heard of the Illuminati (anyone know whats so interesting about the above picture?) and I've also seen the "Schroedinger's Cat Is Dead... No Wait..." T-Shirt on ThinkGeek.com

Might have to dig up some of this Mr Wilson's work Cool

You can read the centre diamond - any which way. This is also *my tattoo Laughing .

Deus Ex - for you Aaron. An oldy but a goody. And one of Brett's favourites.

If you are able to get through the book 'The Illuminatus Trilogy' you will be doing better than most. Wink "Schroedinger's Cat" also requires an expanded mind set not commonly found among the masses.

I played the game Deus Ex Very Happy

The only thing I dislike about reading books is that it kills sooo much time sooo quickly... Each time I pick up a Matthew Reilly book (Scarecrow & Seven Ancient Wonder particularly) I cannot put the book down for the next 9-12 hours Confused

I'll put 'The Illuminatus Trilogy' on my shopping list!

WRT the image above, I really love the way the 4 anigrams of Earth Fire Air Water are then combined into a single unified anigram! In the Dan Brown book, 'Angels & Demons' each Illuminati symbol was a brand, a way of science getting back at religion for branding 3 scientist in the 1600's with the Holy Cross.

In the book, a religion scientist was branded with the "Illuminati" brand, 4 priests were branded with the Earth, Air, Water, Fire brands and finally, the Carmenlengo (The Pope's assistant) was branded with the "Illuminati Diamond".

Ever since seeing the Illuminati Diamond, I've wanted to get it as a tattoo on my shoulder Smile
