Should there be significant prizes/money for winners ?
Yes, Large cash prizes made out of the entry fees

Just wondering is anyone using the coke bottle flipper style. If anyone is is it possible to tell me how to build one. It could be useful in my first bot.

well the most successful robot in australia, el bravo, uses a pair of fibreglassed coke bottle powering two bike pump rams, flips people in the air quite high too, cerberus also uses the same method.

nah jeffs at work 40% of the time, asleep 55% of the time fighting robots the other 5% Very Happy

send him a PM if you want some info on it, i might be able to answer some of your questions though, ive seen it a couple of times and lost to it about 5 times heh
