I dont think it is meant to throw them right over, too small an flipper area, it would only just get under the edge.
Though last night I was thinking about how to made a robot to throw another one right over, prefferably out of the arena!

Hi - I'm the founder of ComBots/ROBOlympics.
Bio lost both fights - skirts ripped of both times. It was pretty gruesome.
Our next event is June 16-18th in San Francisco - http://ROBOlympics.net - I'm also offering to waive all fees for the top two placing robots in the 220 lbs/100kg class and the featherweight class (you still have to pay your own airfare, etc.)
