Do BECs work with IR controllers?

ah yeah, the BEC would have nothing to do with the IR part of things. ive got one in woodzilla powering the IR controllers (at 8v)

Is there a 9 volt BEC?

i guess you could use a 12v one and limit the voltage down. 8 is close enough lol

If you can get your hands on a 12V Bec which is
controlled by a 7812 (3pin) regulator, you could replace
that part with a 7809 one of the same current scale.
(They are pin for pin identical as long as it looks the same)

Or I could give you a circuit diagram for one if your basically
handy with a soldering iron... Wink
