If it makes you feel better, I am having mega probs with the R/C car motors. Even though I am limiting steering and speed to around 50% in the radio, they are getting WAY too hot. They are not melty yet, but it wouldn't take long in a real match. On the other hand, they are easily twice as fast as the stock motors and Jolt was zooming around like Plan F or Cobra
To be safe, I am going back to the stock Whyachi motors, at least they lasted a whole event. I also realised something about the gyro - even if I limit steering to 50% in the radio, the gyro will run the motors up to 100% if it thinks it needs to. That doesn't seem to happen during steering, but it can happen easily in a pushing match. Bot with no gyro and slow motors + .7 cool factor. _________________ Australian 2015 Featherweight champion

Another NSW championship is over and Big Congratulaiontions To Nick and Jolt for first place, Well Done! Two years of developement has finaly paid off and he always said "I`m in it to win!" Watch out Australia!
Congratulations To Jeff and Bob for winning the day and I think first time ever taking the trophy home twice in a row?!
I`m sure someone with all the points records will shortly post the final scores!
Gracefully, I forfeited the day to give the other guys a sporting chance!
A great, long day with enough smoke, sparks and big hits to satisfy everyone! Yes, I did feel a little left out but I was kept busy enough to enjoy myself and to be thoroughly worn out by the end.
Thanks to everyone for another great year and now I am fired up again, looking foward to the intense competition of the next season!
Angus did seem rather dissapointed at the end with the result of the Beetle weight match. Don`t worry mate, we should have known Bort would surprise everyone with a Ghetto Bot that flew around the arena like a featherweight!
Until, now, the beatles seemed to be small, scale, small speed but that has suddenly changed. Even "Hypertech" Slash would have been in trouble!
I think, before it has properly begun, we need to rethink about beetles!
Lost and found. So far.
One claw hammer.
One 8 amp SLA
Two Victor speed controlers ( or were they a gift for me? Cool! )
Welcome to Shane whom seemed to be pretty impressed and looks like we have a new permanent member. Cheers!
