Yeah i wasn't really intersted but just in case.... also i can't really understand our ripoff aussie pricing with motors such as currietech who are selling 450w motors at more than this baby from the states. http://www.cloudelectric.com/item.html?UCIDs=866086%7C1321273&PRID=1532934
Not quite sure what "2 HP continuous, 3 HP for one hour, 10 HP peak" means but when price converted its only 484.031 AUD ?! That would be a damn fine narcart motor i think! Smile However shipping would blow the whole thing outta the water...

That's a pretty good motor for a gokart, or the Etek motors are on sale for a mere $400 US at the moment...

When you are getting up to these power lavels, I would be thinking about going to a small bike engine - you get gears and a clutch in one package. As long as you don't mind the noise and smell, a small bike engine would be cheaper than an equivalent powered electric kart.

Speaking of Etek motors, here is how it might look: http://www.austinev.org/evalbum/570.html

Note the "extremely dangerous" mesage at the bottom!
