The chemial composition has not changed ...
And the data sheets are intentionally vauge ...
Do not kid yourself about the dangers of these chemicals ...
If the full dangers of all chemicals were released then we wouldnt use anything .
The point here is - do not play with these chemicals without a complete and thorough understanding of the dangers present .
Still think its safe - try searching google for "Isocyanate +death"
Try this http://www.uic.edu/sph/glakes/harts/HARTS_library/asthma.txt
Or this http://www.sp2.org/newsletters/sp2vol1iss8/sp2vol1iss8topic.php
This is probably the best start http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/topics/isocyanates/
Do not play with this unless you really know what you are doing .

i guess my question fits into the chemical nature of the thread...

everytime i paint my robot i spend the next 6 months washing the paint of my hands after picking the robot up... it just never seems to stick to the piece..

how the hell do i get it to dry fully?

and also just watching the world biker buildoff, some guys are using "bondo" to patch up all the dents before they paint their chopper... reckon i could fill in some "unused" holes with the stuff?

(on a side note if youve seen the show ive got to meet that scotty guy, he is a GOD that he can hammer that ali and never dent it..)

Hi kkeerroo
Last year you mentioned that your work uses Conathane TU 4010. I have been using it but ran out recently and my Sydney supplier doesn't stock it anymore. Where does your your work source their supplies?

We no longer have the contract with the customer whos product it was that needed the conathane so we no longer need to source any and havn't for almost a year. The last I heard our supplier was having trouble getting it as well but we didn't chase it up, what with all the other troubles we were going through. Sorry I can't help.
