The TZ-85s survived! Ziege, I had two full matches at the ComBots Cup with no failures. I'll probably drop to 5S for the next competition though because it is all getting hotter than I would like.

I'm sorry that I didn't make it clear, there is 1 EV warrior on each TZ-85.

I'm considering splitting the brush pairs internally and running 2 TZ-85s per motor, but I won't get a chance to try that ...

That seems to have fixed it. Thanks!

I'm wondering if the LED and hot glue I added around the pwm and input wires is insulating the temperature detection and causing it to trip prematurely.

I used the tz85a_r40 HEX file. They all stop at different times. I also measured the current going though them as ~1A, so I'm not sure how they are generating enough heat to cause a problem.
