The spur gear setup would give you a top speed of 50kph on 12S. Or 25kph on 6S.

What gearratio does the planetary drive have?

Had to get brutal with the grinder again. Removed all the weapon assembly and cut all the sections of the lower chassis that are not required.

Sent the Hardox 500 uprights off to Glen to have 30mm holes bored into them for the weapon shaft bushes to fit Then tack welded the assembly back onto the chassis for alignment.

I found that RS Components has a good selection of gears these days for acceptable prices. These are Module 1.5 in a 12:40 ratio.

Botbitz provides motors with different voltages. But it seems that
most bots are using a 2s lipo battery which give 7.4v. Why would I need
the high voltage one then?
