I've never done any pressure work over 60psi but how about this?
Glue(?) in wooden bungs and secure with screws going though
the plastic and into the wood. Or even use thin long bolts

I work best similar to spocky using the jaycar donut boards,
but I tend to use telephone / cat5 cable wires instead of
the teflon stuff.
That way I can still have multiple colors to choose from ... |
